Cosmetology
A cosmetology license opens up a world of career/ministry opportunities. Craft aims to give a well-rounded experience while helping students specialize in their area of choice. We prepare students to take the State of Michigan cosmetology exam and equip them with a trade that will allow them to impact individuals through ongoing personal care and relationships.
Since 2020, Craft's cosmetology state exam passing rate is 95%.
Prerequisites
Education
Must have proof of a 9th grade education
Age
Must be at least 16 years old

All needed tools and curriculum are included
Instruction & Experience
1,500 state required hours of training includes instruction by industry pros, student salon experience and hybrid flex learning
Discipleship
Small group and one on one mentoring to experience and reproduce discipleship
Schedule
In-Person
Classroom/student salon 8am - 3:30 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
PLUS weekly instructor led field trips
Hybrid FLex
Hybrid flex learning time, 5-7 hours a week off site
